# PosterityOS

> The operating system for the posterity of creative work.

PosterityOS is the platform and company that stewards the enduring life of songs, memorials, catalogs, and creative institutions. Independent brands, products, and organizations install onto PosterityOS and use its identity authority, publishing systems, brand center, developer platform, and governance to run their own experiences.

PosterityOS is not a music label and not a memorial service. Those are products built on top of it. The first such product is LOX.

## LOX (first product on PosterityOS)

LOX is an independent record label and memorial music service. It publishes original songs organized into Listening Rooms designed for grief, hope, return, mercy, and rest, and provides funeral music licensing, custom memorial songs, legacy albums, and cemetery listening experiences.

LOX offers three Listening Experiences: Play LOX (the full catalog), Remembrance (contemplative and spacious songs), and Renewal (movement-oriented, rhythmic, encouraging songs).
